This is seriously one of my most favorite posts of the year! It’s My Birthday Wish List! Which is really just my way of saying “Summer Gift Guide” for gals like me! You can take a peek at my post from last year and the year before if you want to get more ideas for summer gifts…
I’ll start by saying, I don’t post this list in ANY expectation to get any of these gifts. It’s just my fun way of showing you what I’ve been drooling over lately and hopefully I can inspire you if you have a friend/daughter/loved one with a summer birthday! Let’s dive right in!
Let’s start off with pretty jewelry! Maya Brenner is HUGE in a teeny tiny way. As in, her stuff is getting really popular for being so dainty and pretty. I would love one of her signature yellow gold initial necklaces, with a C for my little man. Hashtag mom life.
Along that same line, I have been drooling over rough cut gems, like diamonds, sapphires, opals, etc. Etsy is brimming with super talented jewelry makers and I LOVE all of these rings from this maker. Totally want them all for ring stacks. Ahem, I’m a size 5.5-6 on that right hand ring finger.
Can we talk for a hot second about toiletries? I am lusting over this curling iron. Two words: extended barrel. Long-haired girls rejoice! You can wrap ALL of your hair without it being in a huge pile at the end (that never really curls)! Yes, please.
This Barr-Co perfume in their original scent is my FAVE. I bought a sample size a couple years ago when I was in St. Louis and I just ran out which makes me so sad. If you love that smell of warm coconuts and fresh linens, then this is for YOU. Plus, it’s so inexpensive for a scent and I could practically bathe in it during the summers.
Heyoooo Frye boots. Enough said. I don’t own a pair of Frye’s because they truly are a pipe dream, but I have been wanting these killer over-the-knee ones that you can also slouch down. Gorgeous, right? I’m a size 9.5, cough cough.
I have a HUGE disclaimer before my house-wares haul. We went and had dinner with some friends recently and I was drooling all over her dishes and cups so much, it was embarrassing. Where’d you get these? And these?! So these are pretty much HER dishes, but I picked different cups and flatware.
I truly can’t stand my dishes anymore. I know I asked for new dishes last year, but I never ended up buying them! The ones I wanted got terrible reviews for chipping too soon, so I never pulled the trigger. These, however, have great reviews. So, yeah, I’ll need all new plates and side plates…but totally worth it to not have to stare at all of the OLD chipped ones in my cupboards anymore, right?
I love these glasses, too, from West Elm. I want a set of the pink ones, the white ones, and if the TEAL ever comes back in stock, come to mama.
Gold flatware, too. I’ve made my point.
And finally, wireless Beats Solo3 headphones in rose gold. I can’t help it, I love a good pair of headphones. Mine are four years old now and literally held together with washi tape, but I love them. They’re over-the-ear, which is a must for me, and I guess I need to step into the 21st century and go wireless. I surrender.
I’ll also say, I bought myself this Swell bottle in Mother of Pearl this year and everyone who sees it LOVES it. And I just ordered the new Urban Decay Heat Palatte too, which is super popular, so those would make wonderful gifts too.
Gift cards that are ALWAYS wonderful are Barnes & Noble, Sephora, Anthropologie, or Starbucks.
