Dipped Peanut Butter and Banana Pretzel Bites

July 10, 2012 by Melissa

With all of the crazy calorie-ridden party snacks out there, sometimes it’s best to be the one to bring something unique and mildly healthy (although disguised as a treat). These little bites are very simple to through together, everyone will love them, and you can enjoy a treat or two knowing that you brought something you won’t feel guilty about!
Dipped Peanut Butter and Banana Pretzel Bites
(per PBBP Bite)
2 pretzels*
½ tsp. creamy natural peanut butter, divided
slice of banana
melted chocolate (semisweet), for dipping
*I used Pretzel Crisps for these, but you can use any pretzel you love!
~Set out a piece of wax paper or parchment for setting the finished bites on.
~On the “inside” of one pretzel, spread ¼ tsp. peanut butter. Press on the banana slice, then spread the rest of the peanut butter on top of the banana slice, and top it with the other pretzel. Dip one side in the melted chocolate. Set on the wax paper or parchment paper to set.
~Repeat as many times as your heart desires (or your party requires).
Strike up a conversation: How has everybody’s healthy summer been progressing?
