Hey guys! So, remember when I got this Liebster not too long ago? Well, I was informed by Maya that she loved my blog so much that she put it up for another! That’s two Liebster awards and I’m just so happy!
Maya is a fashion blogger, so I was especially happy about receiving it from her, because she primarily reads fashion blogs (apparently snazzy dressers need a sweet treat too!).
Here were the 11 questions she asked me, and the rest of the Liebster details I’ll just leave to my previous post.
I’d also love to mention that my friend Renee “tagged” me in one of her blogging posts, so shout out to her!
1. What is your favorite clothing item? I don’t currently have a favorite item of clothing. I’ve lost a lot of weight over the years so every year I have to get new pieces (and I tend to not spend a lot on clothes because I feel like I wear work-out clothing so much…but I’m trying to grow my adult wardrobe!). I love accessories though, like my giant Eat Cake For Breakfast Kate Spade bag, perfect for a baking blogger. And I love leather gloves in the fall and winter. And, of course, I swoon for beautiful shoes.
2. Do you buy Vintage?I honestly have never bout a used piece of clothing, ever. I’m not being a snob…I’ve just always lived in areas where used clothing stores are primarily there for costume party shopping, not for fashion. I also have a fear of used clothing…and library books. But someday, if I stumble upon a vintage Chanel, I promise I won’t scoff and walk away.
3. What is your favorite shop? I assume you mean clothing shop, so I’ll have to say Anthropologie. I could live in there. But, I guess this answer is kind of cheating because I always go in there to look at clothes and end up buying all new dishes for my kitchen instead!
4. What is your favorite dessert? Well, I don’t have a favorite specific dessert. I love ice cream so much! We have love affairs far too frequently. And you just can’t beat a good cookie. And rich flourless cake is divine. And banana cake or strawberry cake. But, coconut cake for my birthday please.
5. Coffee or tea?Both! But coffee first…then tea.
6. Why did you start writing a blog? Because I love it. And I need someplace to vent my sarcastic energy. Also, I really started it because my parents moved away and I wanted my mom to be able to see what I was baking and still feel like she was there with me.
7. Do you saw? Saw? Like with the sharp tool? No, but I have in the past. If you mean sew (maybe?) then yes! My grandma taught me 🙂
8. Favorite colour?I’m a pink lovin girl! But I also love those fall bronzy colors too.
9. Long hair or short hair? Long. Very long!
10. Favorite holiday destination? How can I choose?? I loved Belgium and Switzerland and Austria. But for a relaxing vacation, I’d love to go to a beach and just lay there.
11. Do you work at the fashion industry? Nope, but I drool all over it wishing I was that stylish!
