Happy Valentine’s Day!

February 14, 2013 by Melissa

Have a lovely Valentine’s Day! Cheers!

(These are my nanny kiddos, I love them so much, and making cookies with them was the highlight of my week.)

Eve is just beside herself with excitement over this new activity!

Grey can’t stop giggling and smiling. So sweet!

They followed directions and loved stamping hearts out of the dough!

Look what you made!!

Look what you made!!

I couldn't resist decorating them with a little pink frosting while the kiddos napped.

*note – Having fun with little ones and cookie dough doesn’t have to be stressful! I used store-bought cookie mix and it helped them learn how to follow directions and practice patience. Were they sugared up for the evening? Nope! They finished the cookie cutting, I baked them up, then they went down for a nap. No need to show them that what they just made was edible 😉 They had just as much fun having no clue that they were cookies!

**Please excuse the poor quality of my photos. They were taken on my phone 🙂

You should do it sometime! It’s so much fun and then you just drop them off at a friend’s house or on the neighbor’s doorstep 😉
