A Peek At My Wedding

Hi all! I’ve been really wanting to share some wedding pictures with you all, especially after sharing a few details beforehand, but I’ve had one little problem…

THREE THOUSAND PHOTOS! 

Yeah. No joke.

So for me to pick out 10 to share with you has taken me…oh, well it’s been two months since my wedding…

Yeah. 

Ok, so I wanted to show you just a FEW things. I love all of your outpouring of love and support and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. So, here ya go! 

 

Getting ready with my mommy –

We were married in a beautiful glass chapel in the woods –

I love that my photographer captured our first married kiss from this angle, with clapping family and friends in the background –

The girls- My bridesmaids are my three closest friends of all time. We held beautiful orange flowers –

The guys – The groomsmen were Steve’s closest buddies since high school and his brother. They wore dark gray suits and an orange calla lily –

Our cakes were AMAZING! I had a very specific vision for our wedding cake, with ruffles, a couple bold yet understated flowers, and gold accents. His cake (picked by him) was a Razorback, our University of Arkansas mascot, dressed up for golf (he is a golfer) –

I have a deep love for Ranunculus, so that was the flower that had to be on the cake. I painted the cake topper’s features to better represent us (the male originally came with orange hair and female came with black hair, so I painted the male with dark brown hair and the female with golden hair)-

There might have been a mishap with the cake tasting… –
