Skinny Black Forest Shake

Ready to drink up an entire milkshake for around 100 calories? What if I told you that the milkshake was pretty big too…and chocolatey? You can exhale! It’s vegan too! Here’s the recipe:

Skinny Black Forest Shake
(makes one large “milk” shake) 
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk, frozen (6 cubes)*
1/4 cup sweet frozen dark cherries
1 Tbs. cocoa powder (I use Scharffen Berger)
1/2 Tbs. Stevia (I used 2 “Pure Via” packets, which is a little less than that)
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
optional: cacao nibs for sprinkling 

*Check out this “milk” shake recipe for tips on frozen almond milk
~Put all of the ingredients into your blender (or bullet!) and blend well. Pour into a large glass, and sprinkle the top with cacao nibs if you so desire. Enjoy!

By the way, as soon as I had this made and in a cup, my boyfriend swooped in, started drinking it, then asked politely if he could drink the whole thing. I would call that a definite success!
