Your Ultimate Easy Gluten Free Thanksgiving

November 16, 2016 by Melissa

We are pulling together all of the side dishes I’ve made this month for your ultimate, easy gluten free Thanksgiving. I’ll have all of your sides and pies taken care of, with minimal ingredients, quick cooking times and healthier options! Hosting will be a breeze this year, promise!

That title sounds pretty impressive, right? “Your Ultimate, EASY, Gluten Free Thanksgiving.” Whew! Sign me up!

Let me tell you, it is possible.

So let’s take a look back at all of the recipes I’ve posted that will help make your EASY holiday dinner dreams a reality! I made a list of sides that are simple, use shared ingredients so you don’t have a grocery list a mile long, they all cook really quickly and all of the desserts can and should be made ahead of time. The only thing you need to dig up (or ask Aunt Sally to bring) is the turkey. And honestly, if you are popping a turkey into the oven after breakfast and then just letting it do its thang, you have nothing to worry about.

First I’ll remind you of my post from last Thanksgiving. That may be helpful to you and give you more ideas.

And now let’s get to it, mmmkay?

Your Ultimate EASY Gluten Free Thanksgiving // treatswithatwist.com

For SIDES we have:
Holiday Hummus with Pomegranates, Pepitas and Sage Oil
Green Beans with Almonds and Sage Butter Onions
Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Pomegranates and Maple Tahini
Roasted Delicata Squash with Vegan Walnut Pesto
Traditional Sausage & Cornbread Stuffing

For DESSERT we have:
Brownie Bottomed Pumpkin Pie
Salted Maple Walnut Pie
Maple Pear Cake

To DRINK we have:
Simple Fall Sangria

If your mind is reeling and all you can think is “we can’t have only four sides” then that’s where things tend to spin out of control. You should ask a guest to bring rolls if they are important to your table. Another guest can make roasted cauliflower mashed potatoes, or whatever peaks your interest. But just remember, it’s about the people that are gathered around your table. And you’ve made a gorgeous, impressive dinner with all of these offerings!

Now, just don’t forget to let your turkey rest before you carve it and you’ll be golden.

LEFTOVERS: take a peek at the bottom of the recipes for each side! There are leftovers suggestions!
